Having grown up inner city Brisbane, Ed’s parents ensured that from a young age he was engaged in the local community. Ed attended Mt Carmel primary school, played rugby union at Easts and swam at the MLC Leander Club Langland’s park pool. Ed’s motivation and commitment to a strong training regime later saw him compete at the national titles in the 50 metre breaststroke and for Queensland in the national snooker championships.
Ed completed his secondary education at St Joseph’s College Gregory Terrace. It was during these formative years that Ed learnt many of the strong values he stands for today. Ed started his property management career in 2001. Since then, he has worked at Patrick Dixon Real Estate (now known as Dixon Estate Agents), the property company Red and Co, managed social and community housing and has successfully managed a portfolio of international student rooms in Brisbane.
